On Friday, 27 September the SGS A and SGS C chess teams competed in the Russell Trophy Jamboree held at Royal Grammar School, Guilford.
After two very intense rounds, the A team came second by half a point scoring seven and a half points and the C team decisively won scoring 10 points in the round overall.
Well done to all the boys who competed in the event.
