Sutton Grammar School is seeking to appoint a full-time teacher of Chemistry.
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join one of the top-performing schools in England. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and qualified teacher of Chemistry to join this thriving department within the Science Faculty. The successful candidate will be required to teach OCR Gateway GCSE Chemistry, OCR (A) A-Level Chemistry and a highly engaging KS3 course. The ability to teach Biology and/or Physics at KS3 would also be desirable. Chemistry is a popular choice at A-Level and it is envisaged the successful candidate will be involved with sixth form teaching. In addition, there is an opportunity to contribute to the many enrichment projects in the school. These include Big Bang Science, Chemistry A Level STEM projects, Olympiad preparation, Y10/11 STEM CREST projects and primary school outreach. In this way you will be joining a supportive and energetic group of capable teachers who work hard to provide a rich curricular and extra-curricular experience for their students.
