Sutton Grammar School

Personal Development

The Personal Development Curriculum offered at Sutton Grammar School aims to equip students with the necessary tools to make positive and informed decisions that align with values of kindness, empathy, and respect. By imparting these values and knowledge to our students, we hope to prepare them to confidently navigate our diverse and ever-changing society while embracing its challenges.

Our curriculum strives to enable students to make informed choices regarding their health, relationships, and general wellbeing while building their self-efficacy. Even in the face of adversity, we believe our students will be able to exhibit resilience and seek out necessary help and support. We are confident that this curriculum will aid our students in achieving happiness and success in their adult lives and encourage them to uphold and promote these values in their daily interactions with others.

Hear it? Report it!

At Sutton Grammar, the atmosphere and culture of our school is tremendously important to us. So, if you’ve heard something at school that you’re uncomfortable with, report it here. This way, we can ensure that our school community remains a happy and safe space for all.

We believe reporting inappropriate language is very important. Whilst this form is not about disciplinary action (but instead giving us a snapshot of school life), we recommend reporting the incident separately to your tutor/Head of Year so that they can deal with it.
