Year 11 Mock Exams

These exams are used both to assess boys' performance and also to prepare them for the forthcoming GCSE examination in June.

The topics covered in the Physics examination will be from Years 9, 10 and 11:

• Heat Transfer
• Kinetic Theory
• Wave Properties
• Electromagnetic Spectrum
• Energy
• Forces & Motion
• Radioactivity
• Electric Circuits
• Using Electricity
• Using Waves
• Effects of Forces

Boys are expected to revise thoroughly for these exams. The Logon Science website is recommended to help them idenitfy weak/strong areas. All students are given a username and password for this site. If they have any difficulty using it, they should report it to their physics teacher straight away. Performance in these exams may also be reflected in the predicted grade for the final GCSE exams.
